It’s that time again. The Coachella line up has been announced. That means I spend half a day viewing and reviewing the 3 day list of acts… weighing the depth of talent per day… determining whether I’d like to see “Such and Such” again… or whether I need to see “So and So” first time. This year’s line up is no different for me. There’s a ton of good talent on the bill and with 3 days of music on 2 consecutive weekends, there’s a lot of choices. Not to mention the $350 tab just for the passes. Then there lodging. To camp or not to camp? Rent a house or get a hotel? Drive or fly? Since I’m in Southern California, that’s an easy decision… drive. And since I’m older than I once was, let’s answer that lodging question… NOT TO CAMP! But there are still plenty of travel dilemmas to face when planning a trip to Indio, California in April.
