I should have known that Andy Samberg wouldn’t return to SNL just to imitate a judge from ‘The Voice’. The alum returned to Saturday Night Live on January 26, 2013 to deliver his latest digital short titled ‘YOLO’. The world, even the K’s, are obsessed with the phrase made popular in a Drake song by Rick Ross, so I wasnt suprised by the parady’s subject, but rather by its cast. Samberg’s co-writers (dba The Lonely Island), Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, were featured in the short as well as host, Adam Levine, musical guest Kendrick Lamar (from Los Angeles), and the great Kenny Powers (Eastbound And Down), Danny McBride. Kendrick Lamar will undoubtedly further extend himself as a household name. Adam Levin will fortunately not put himself closer to JT status, however, because HE’LL NEVER BE JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE.
